Discovery Flight Details

Whether you just want to take one flight to say that you've flown an airplane, want to get your private pilot license, or have your sights set on being a commercial pilot, taking a discovery flight is step one. Your instructor will give you an overview of the plane, help you complete the pre-taxi, run-up, and pre-takeoff checklists. You'll then taxi out onto the runway and they'll guide you through taking off and welcome you to the sky! Once in the air, you'll climb up to around 3,000 ft, level off, and soak in some amazing views! You can relax a little while you're flying straight, take a few photos, and enjoy. Your instructor will then guide you through the decent process and help you get lined up with the runway for your final approach. You and your instructor will then land the plane safely together. After the flight, you can take some more photos, debrief, and ask your instructor any questions you may have. It's truly an exciting adventure that you'll never forget!
